PHA (polyhydroxyalkanoate) is one of the natural polymer material, which is synthesized by microorganisms using starch or oil. PHA as a polymer material, it not only has properties similar to petroleum based plastics, but also has excellent heat resistance, heat sealing, barrier properties, hydrolysis stability, and marine degradability. PHA biopolymer can achieve global carbon neutrality and solve plastic waste pollution. PHA has excellent performance and can spontaneously degrade in natural and even marine environments, which is different from PLA, PBAT, PBS, etc.
